Teamplace: Chats Meet Documents
Teamplace now allows mobile discussions on documents, videos and pictures
Thursday, March 3, 2016 — Teamplace, the cloud storage solution for teams, has made perfect collaboration among teams its goal, no matter whether these teams have private, professional or sports roots. That's why Teamplace has removed all limits to both memory and number of team members for projects up to 90 days. In addition to perfect image previews, Teamplace displays almost any document without requiring the relevant program on any device. And thanks to versioning, related conflicts are eliminated.
Discussions start at the content
Teamplace now takes a step further by allowing the discussion on documents in the form of chats. The comments of each team member are retained over multiple file versions, so that an overview of how a document develops can be easily gained. Thanks to push notifications and with mobile apps for iPhone and Android, mobile collaboration becomes boundless.
"We’re not seeking to compete with the mass of messenger apps out there which allow you to exchange documents", said Ole Raack, CEO at Teamplace. "But productive communication takes place in teams and where the content is. It's here that we're convinced that Teamplace is setting new standards. Whoever creates a Teamplace for their next meeting instantly sees that results are achieved faster and easier than traditionally through email."
